Epi Week 7: Signs of Life

An “epi week,” for those who don’t speak disease surveillance, is simply a standardized method of counting weeks in order to accurately compare data from year to year.  These weeks run from Sunday to Saturday.

I take a lot of random smartphone photos when I’m in the field, mostly because I can’t be bothered to bring along a nice camera.  Now that the weather is warming up (sort of), plants and insects are slowly coming out of hiding.  Here are a few images from last week.
