Read about the origins of the moniker “Noony” here.
This blog used to be called Noony Tales and I changed it in 2017 to accurately describe how I get through life – trudging every step of the way. Some days are easier than others but mostly it feels like one challenge after another. I am a modern-day, Southeast Asian Eleanor Roosevelt. I do something that scares me (almost) every day, only because I find myself in situations in which there is no other option.
I tend to go crashing straight through the middle of things instead of navigating around them. I don’t see any point in delaying the inevitable. It takes longer to go around the mountain than to just strap on your big girl boots and go straight up.
Most refugees are trudgers by nature. I have learned from the most resilient of them.
